Although there’s only two Top 25 match-ups in Week 1, they both involve PAC-12 teams. No. 25 Northwestern travels to Palo Alto to take on the No. 23 Stanford Cardinal at 1:00pm Saturday August 31st on Fox. Later that same day No. 13 Oregon will be on the road to take on No. 16 Auburn at 4:30pm on ABC in a game that could possibly make or break Oregon’s chances to put the PAC-12 back into the college football playoff. In other key PAC-12 games to watch No. 15 Utah travels to Provo to take on BYU, Eastern Washington heads to UW to take on Chris Peterson’s No. 12 Huskies, and New Mexico State will travel to the Palouse to take on the Air Raid offense of Mike Leach’s No. 21 Washington State Cougars.
