Utah is starting out its return to the Big-12 with a healthy QB in Cam Rising and ranked No. 1 in their preseason poll. Arizona sits at No. 5 even though they may have one of the best tandoms in QB Noah Fafita and WR Tetairoa McMillan who pulled in 90 catches for 1,402 yards and 10 TD’s last year. Colorado sits at 11 with Arizona State in the basement at No. 16. Since I have not followed the Big-12 I’m reluctant to criticize. However, even though I’m not surprised that Utah is sitting at No. 1, I do think Colorado has been placed too low. Considering that Shedour Sanders is one of the very best quarterbacks in the nation, the Buffaloes have beefed up his protection in the off-season and Travis Hunter has returned, I will be surprised if they don’t become bowl eligible this year.
