Wow, how about that game USC squeaked out against the Sun Devils and Notre Dame defeating top rated Clemson last week. The Fighting Irish fans were so excited it set off a super spreader event in the stadium when a shockingly large number of them ran onto the field after it was over. It was fun to see the type of excitement and outpouring of emotion we’re all used to with college football. Hopefully no players will end up on the sidelines this coming week as a result of the celebration.
We go from four Top 25 head-to-head matchups last week to none this week. But there are a number of Top 25 games that should be interesting including: No. 10 Indiana at Michigan State who already knocked off Michigan and will be hoping to break into the Top 25 with a win; No. 13 Wisconsin at Michigan with Jim Harbaugh really needing a win after already losing to both No. 10 Indiana and Michigan State and; No. 1 Alabama at last year’s national champion LSU who lost in an opening game shocker to Mississippi State and are currently 2-3 on the season and desperate for a significant victory.
After two cancellations last week, as of Tuesday the 10th it looks as though all twelve teams will make it onto the field for the PAC-12. First game up pits No. 20 USC on the road against Arizona on Saturday, November 14th, at 12:30pm on FOX. They should win easily, but as we saw last week all kinds of crazy stuff can happen. That’s why we love college football, right?
